Following is a partial list of deer tolerant perennials.
Remember, not all plants are universally tolerant, variations in susceptibility are to be expected.

It is wise to test the susceptibility of a plant prior to installation. Leave the plant in the garden for a couple of weeks and see if "your" deer have acquired a taste for this plant.

Keep in mind too...
In a drought nothing is sacred and deer prefer young tender shoots over hard woody stems.

To round out your garden, there are many annuals, bulbs & tubers, ground covers, shrubs, trees, and vines that can survive successfully in deer country.
